Description: The Fire Ridgeback Dragons are considered the most feared beasts known to man. Reaching its full growth of forty-eight feet in length with a wingspan of ninety feet, this dragon was regarded as one of the leaders of the Dragons of the Four Elements with their riders deemed the Dark Knights. The Fire Ridgeback Dragons are cunning and decietful; they normally linger around volcanoes and often smell of sulfur. They are identified by the crown-like horns upon their head, which, according to legend, meant that these dragons were perhaps descended from royalty and were originally considered the rulers of all beasts. Throughout history, the Fire Ridgeback Dragons raged war against the Black Fire Dragons to determine which beast was more powerful.

Element: Fire
Place of Origin: Germany

However, these dragons are incredibly rare. Most were slain for their precious hide by other people of the magical community.
